The Satake Noushu Masamune Deba kitchen knife is a traditional Japanese knife with a robust, single-bevel blade, ideal for processing and precisely filleting fish while preserving the meat's structure. In Japan, it's also often used for butchering poultry. However, it's important to note that this isn't a classic cleaver, so avoid forceful chopping motions. For cutting bones, apply only gentle pressure to the back of the knife while making a quick, precise cut. The sharp tip and short, 16 cm blade provide excellent control, which is particularly advantageous for working in tight spaces.

The heart of the knife is the AUS-8A stainless steel blade. This Japanese quality steel provides excellent edge retention and corrosion resistance, while being easy to sharpen and maintain.
